The International Trumpet Guild was founded in 1974 to promote communications among trumpet  players around the world and to improve the artistic level of performance,  teaching, and literature associated with the trumpet.

ITG's more than 6,000 members represent 64 countries and include professional and amateur performers, teachers, students, manufacturers, publishers, and others interested in belonging to an organization dedicated to the trumpet profession. ITG is supported by the dues of individual members.

Welcome to the official web site of the International Trumpet Guild! The Officers and Board of Directors are very happy to be able to provide access to fantastic trumpet information through this website.

This is the place to find all you need to know about official activities and publications of the Guild. The site is managed by Michael Anderson and his staff, and is unparalleled with comprehensive information including worldwide trumpet related events, with many sponsored by the International Trumpet Guild. Links to trumpet related websites, materials, repertoire, and pedagogy provide quick access to nearly any facet of trumpet and trumpet related information.

Access to past ITG Journals, the ITG youth site, current news, as well as the information concerning the International Trumpet Guild Annual Conference and regional trumpet conferences is also available.

Please enjoy your visit to our website; we hope you will visit frequently!

ITG Elections

It is time to submit nominations for Vice President/President elect, Secretary, and the Board of Directors for the International Trumpet Guild. According to the ITG Constitution, elections are to be held every two years. The Board is responsible for determining the direction for our organization. These are positions of great responsibility. Please consider carefully your choices for these positions. Ask the person you wish to nominate if he/she is willing to serve. The nominee must send a photo and bio, along with a “Statement of Purpose” (a total of 250 words or less) to the Nominations Committee. You may also self-nominate. Nominations should be sent to Vice President Kevin Eisensmith at vicepresident@trumpetguild.org by December 15, 2008. Contact him if you have any questions.
